ENTERTAINING EDUCATION
AstroNavigator contains detailed information about more than 9000 sky objects that includes the most prominent astronomical characteristics. This information is accesible on a separate window and doesn't clutter the main viewing window. Moreover, AstroNavigator provides cartoon like images for the major constellations - an unusual and simple way of learning them - and also images for all planets on the info window. CONTROL OVER TIME AND SPACE
Long to see more? AstroNavigator gives the opportunity to watch any prominent event in the space like solar or lunar eclipses, planet parade and others. Those that already happened or that are still to come. All you need to do is set the location on the scalable Earth map or select a town from the list from where this event can be seen and the corresponting date and time. Moreover, AstroNaviator can fetch your whereabouts from a GPS receiver and display the sky right above you. Isn't it great to travel in time and space seeing the changes above you in the sky? |

MAXIMUM CONVENIENCE AND ATTRACTIVENESS
You can always turn off and on different elements that AstroNavigator displays: stars, planets, constellations, nebulas, coordinate grid. When gazing at stars you will soon notice that after looking at the bright screen you have to strain your eyes to make out the objects in the sky. This is when the Night View mode comes in handy. When the Night View is turned on, AstroNavigator displays everything in dim red colors and it becomes convenient to look repeatedly at the screen and at the sky. |
